Hello Dear Family and Friends!

I’m working again this year to raise funds for a cause very close to my family — Heat It To Beat It — and I hope you’ll join me! The 15th annual Heat It To Beat It is raising money to support The Institute for Cancer Care at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, and specifically funds research and outreach led by Geoff’s amazing surgical oncologist who saved his life 2.5+ years ago, Dr. Armando Sardi.  You can view an impressive list of the 2023 research accomplishments of his team at Mercy on the Research page of the Heat It To Beat It website. 

I will forever be grateful to Dr Sardi for his persistence in getting every bit of cancer out of Geoff that he possibly could during his 17 hour surgery. There is still much to learn about these rare cancers. Your contributions will directly impact research to better understand peritoneal carcinomatosis and the treatments that could help give Geoff and others the best chances for a long, healthy life.
