Andriana Rivera was a dear friend and a 14 year cancer survivor.  The doctors and staff at Mercy saved her life and gave us the gift of knowing and loving her. 

Andriana was a dedicated and passionate educator, devoting 30 years of her life to teaching in the New York City public school system.  She inspired generations of students with her encouragement, patience and love of learning.

She loved cooking recipes passed down from her parents and sharing delicious food with her friends and family.  She was an animal lover and enjoyed knitting, gardening, and spending time at the beach with her family.

Andriana was well loved by so many.  She was funny, sweet, kind, generous, smart, moral and faithful, a great mother, wife, daughter and Yia Yia (grandma). 

We will cherish her memory.
